Every Dollar Goes to Ukraine

Mountain West Dermatology of Idaho Falls and Dr. Hinkson are donating up to $60,000 to help Ukraine outlast their invaders. Dr. Hinkson’s donations are focused in three areas: building homes, purchasing critical wound care equipment, and feeding the elderly. 100% of his donation and yours goes directly into Ukraine.

Providing Homes: Goal $60,000 for 4 Homes

Thousands of civilian homes have been destroyed in Ukraine since the start of the war. Towns near the capital saw some of the most devastating bombings in March 2022 because they were located on the path to Kyiv.

Like many others, Victoria Danilova and her two children lost their home in the bombings while their husband and father was fighting at the front. He was injured, then returned to the battle.

On September 9, 2022 he was fighting Russian forces to liberate Ukraine and was killed. While we can never restore what they have lost, we can ease their suffering and make sure they have a warm place to heal their hearts this winter. Learn more about Victoria and her family.

Solution: A Ukrainian manufacturer of modular homes will build and deliver a . The house is furnished with appliances, furniture and bedding. Once families have rebuilt their homes, the modular unit can be moved to assist new families.

Saving Limbs and Lives: Goal $50,000 to save 400 Limbs

In Ukraine, there is no ADA Compliance, no help for the disabled. If you lose a limb, you are destined for poverty and suffering. You will be deemed unfit to work and will rely on the goodness of family members.

Solution: We can deliver negative pressure would care devices to keep people from having limbs amputated. One device can save multiple limbs and lives.

Mountain West Dermatology has a goal of saving 400 limbs with your help.

Feeding the Elderly: Goal $10,000 to Feed 1000 Couples

One of the untold tragedies of the war are the hundreds of villages where the elderly have been left with few resources. Women and children have fled to Poland and men are fighting to protect their country. They are already physically challenged, but with food access scarce, the elderly have few ways to get to humanitarian aid.

Solution: Our drivers deliver the aid right to their door–even if that door is on the 16th floor of an apartment building with no elevator or is located in a village surrounded by mined roads. These angels deliver not only food, but hope and a smile.
